Tony

From Homeless to Handyman

A member of the Mission SOLANO staff found Tony behind the Mission SOLANO Thrift store. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition due to alcohol poisoning.

Once stable, Tony entered the New Life Recovery Program and began to address the issues that led to his addictions.

Tony soon started attending William Jessup University, graduating four years later with honors. In March of ’09 Tony received his Masters Degree in counseling/psychology.

Today Tony celebrates victory over his addiction; a plumber by trade he came back to the area, moved into a local apartment, got a job as a handyman and now provides one on one case management for those individuals seeking help at Mission SOLANO.
